100 follower giveaway CLOSED

WOW! When I first started my blog I was never sure how well it would go, if anyone would want to read and comment on my posts and more than that if people would want to come back for more. So it makes me really happy to see that I have reached over 100 GFC followers!

I wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have followed and continue to support my blog, and in return I want to give back a small token of my appreciation to two lucky followers, which means there are two prizes up for grabs!

The first is the complete Sleek nude collection which I have reviewed previously and is my everyday makeup at the moment. I wanted to pick something that can suit everyone so this seemed perfect, is there anyone who doesn’t love nudes?

The second prize is a set of nail products from OPI including Nail Envy, cuticle oil and a selection of mini polishes from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection.

I want to make the process as simple as possible but also fun. To enter all you need to do is state which prize you would like and give me your favourite beauty tip or fact (which must be true!). For example:

GFC follower: Discovering Beauty
Prize entry: OPI nails
Fact: Your lips are red because there are many blood vessels around the lip area and because the skin on your top and bottom lip is very thin the color from these blood vessels is seen through to the surface of the lips, making them appear red.

The rules are simple, you must be a public GFC follower (I will be checking) so anyone who is shy should come out now! Leave your entry below this post. I will allow two entries per person, one for each prize.

I will keep the giveaway open for three weeks making the final closing date Sunday October 30th 2011 at midnight (GMT) and I will choose the winners soon after. This giveaway will be open internationally. I look forward to reading your entries!

Tip: At least once a week, mix your usual conditioner with 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil and a spoon of honey and leave it in your hair for at least one hour. The Olive Oil will condition your hair and the honey is a humectant which means it brings moisture to your hair!

Fact: In renaissance Italy women created the ultimate red lip and cheek tint by mixing cochineal sandalwood or cinnabar with wax or grease. The application process was complex, but the red colour lasted for over a week.
(wish mine lasted even a full day)

Beauty tip: Best beauty tip? Smile! Nothing makes you look older than frown lines and worrying. A smile brightens your face. And regularly moisturising doesn't hurt.

Fact: You should ALWAYS moisturise every single day especially now it's colder to stop the skin from drying out & looking dull. x x x

Tip: When applying eyeliner, to get the perfect and equal flick on each eye, begin by drawing a small flick and extending to however exaggerated you would like it to be. Do the same for the other eye . Once finished, apply eye liner to the rest of the lids. To get the best eye line (thick or thin), use an eye liner with a felt like tip.

Tip: For those who suffer from enlarged pores when washing your face morning/night, splash/dab the affected areas with cold water. Then as part of your normal routine your toner will help minimise the appearance of pores (Bellapierre's toner is the best one I've ever tried - and I've tried plenty!).

Tip: Push your false lashes up as they're drying to get a natural curl and get the full extent of your lashes. Since you're skipping the eyelash curler, you might get more uses out of your false lashes :)

Thank you so so much for this giveaway I would sooo love to win :D xxx and ps. You're awesome xD I love your reviews xD

Tip: If you have a small eyelid space, it’s best to avoid drawing on a thick line with your eyeliner as this will make your eyelids look a lot smaller. So keep as close to the upperlash line as you can, starting from a third of the way in.

Fact: I love using organic coconut oil as an eye makeup remover every night. Not only does it remove the most stubborn of eye makeups( even waterproof) but also leaves my lashes conditioned and strong. Use a teeny amount on a cotton ball and swipe it on your eyes and repeat with a clean cotton ball. Does not leave me with oily eyelids and is so much cheaper than chemical laden expensive eye makeup removers. Also as a naturally curly haired girl, I can swear frizz free hair if u apply coconut oil (again just a dab) after shower on wet hair instead of a serum. Leaves hair strong, frizz free and coconut is the only hair that actually penetrates the hair itself (not just scalp) so the hair actually absorbs this oil. It also leaves a yummy tropical scent to boot.
Thank you for this amazing giveaway I have been lusting after this particular OPI collection for so long now :)
    Good luck everyone.

Tip: Before applying mascara, in order to get the full volumised effect, curl your eye lashes. Take you eyelash curler and place your lashes in between. Tighten the curler firmly for about 5 seconds. DO NOT squeeze to hard! Squeezing to hard may cause damage to your eyelashes. After you finished curling your lashes, then apply the mascara. Take you mascara and work upward on your eyelashes slowly.
